A Chinese friend took me to the town of Tong Mu to visit his young nephew Wen Wen. From the balcony of his home there was a grandstand view of a Chinese market on the street below. In another street, we watched a woman making coolie hats out of thin bamboo.

China Pictures Of Spectacular Chinese Scenery

Other friends in Guilin took me in a minibus to the highest peak of the mountains. A new track had been cut into the mountain exposing the yellow earth. On the summit, a new transmitter station had been built so more China pictures were taken
